General Description
Daikin Applied Magnitude WME-D centrifugal chillers are
complete, self-contained, automatically controlled, liquid-chilling
units featuring oil-free, magnetic bearing compressors with a
two-stage impeller design. All WME-D chillers are equipped with
a single evaporator, condenser, and refrigerant economizer along
with either one or two compressors depending on the model.
FOR INSTALLATION ONLY IN LOCATIONS NOT ACCESSIBLE
TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC .
Magnitude WME-D chillers are designed for indoor, non-freezing
installation only. The chillers use refrigerant R-515B, operating
at a positive pressure over the entire operational range with no
purge system required.
NOTICE
Magnitude WME-D centrifugal chillers are not intended for use
by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the unit by a person responsible for their safety. Children should
be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit.
Only normal field connections such as water piping, relief valve
piping, electric power, and control interlocks are required, thereby
simplifying installation and increasing reliability. Necessary
equipment protection and operating controls are included.

All Daikin Applied centrifugal chillers must be commissioned by
a factory-trained Daikin Applied service technician. Failure to
follow this startup procedure can affect the equipment warranty.
The standard limited warranty on this equipment covers parts
that prove defective in material or workmanship. Specific details
of this warranty can be found in the warranty statement furnished
with the equipment.
