3.2 Installing optional accessories
3.2.1 Electric immersion heater
In addition to the heating option via the stainless steel heat ex-
changer, the hot water storage tank can also be equipped with an
electric immersion heater.

3.2.2 Circulation brakes
To prevent heat loss from the connection pipes when the circulation
pump is switched off and during periods when no domestic water is
drawn off (gravity circulation), circulation brakes
ZKB (set - 2 pieces)
should be fitted in the connections for the hot water storage tank.
3.2.3 Scalding protection
There is a danger of scalding at hot water temperatures over 60 °C.
By installing scalding protection the hot water temperature can be in-
finitely adjusted and limited from 35 - 60 °C.

3.2.4 Circulation line connection
If a circulation line is to be connected, the DRCIRCSETA circulation
line connection is recommended.
3.2.5 External current anode
If the filling water has a high total hardness or other properties that
deviate from the minimum requirements (
Chap. 1.2.5 ), the DRELE-
CANODEA external current anode should be installed as additional
corrosion protection.
3.2.6 Storage tank connection kit
To connect the hot water storage tank to an oil condensing boiler,
the DRTANKCOKITA storage tank connection set is needed.

Temperature regulation and a safety temperature limiter (STB) are already integrated in the electric immersion heater. The
electric immersion heater is delivered ready for fitting.
