2.2.3. Replacing the switch box
2.2.3.1 Preliminary actions
1.
Switch off the Daikin Altherma Monobloc CA via the user interface.
2.
Switch off the Daikin Altherma Monobloc CA with the field supplied circuit breaker.
3.
Remove the hydrobox front plate, refer to
"Removing the hydrobox front plate" on page 111
4.
Remove the front plate assembly, refer to
"Removing the front plate assembly" on page 113
2.2.3.2 Procedure
Removal
1.
Loosen and remove the 2 screws (1) that fix the hydrobox switch box cover plate (2).
2.
Remove the hydrobox switch box cover plate (2).
3.
Loosen and remove the screw (3) that fixes the ground wire (4).
4.
Remove the wiring (5) from terminals 1, 2 and 3 of X4M (6).
5.
Guide the wiring (5) and ground wire (4) through the grommet (7).
6.
Remove the wiring (5) from the cable harness clip on the rear of the hydrobox switch box (8).
7.
Unplug connectors S501 (9), S502 (10) and S503 (11) from the Service PCB (12).
8.
Remove the Sercive PCB cable harness (13) from the cable harness clip (14).
9.
Unplug connector X19 (15) from the A1P PCB (16).
10. Open the connector X6YA / X6Y (17).
11. Guide connector X19 (15) and connector X6YA (17) through the grommet (18).
12. Remove the 3 harnesses from the cable feed through (19).
13. Loosen the screw (20) that fixes the switch box to the frame.
14. Detach the cable clamp on the compressor wires located at the ferrite core (21).
15. Detach the cable clamps for the fan motor wire, the thermistors (2x) and the pressure sensor.
16. Release the fan motor assembly harness (22) from the electrical component box (23).
17. Unplug connectors S40 (28), S90 (26), S60 (26), S20 (27) from the PCB 2 assembly main (32).
18. Unplug connectors S80 (29), S70 (30) from the PCB assembly inverter (32).
19. Unplug Faston plugs U, V, W (31) (compressor cable).
20. Loosen and remove the screw (33) that fixes the switch box (35) to the frame.
21. Loosen and remove the screw (34) that fixes PCB assembly inverter (32).
22. Pull the switch box (35) to remove it from the unit.

When reconnecting a connector to the PCB, do not apply force or damage the connector or the connector pins on
the PCB.

NFORMATION
The screw (33) is only required if the PCB assembly inverter (32) will be removed.
