Heat Pump Unit Applications
This section covers applications for heat pump units.
Heat Pump Unit – Three Heat, Two Cool
• Fan status switch (FST) and discharge air temperature
sensor (DAT) are optional. They are typically used only
when the BACnet Thermostat is connected to a network.
• The outdoor air temperature sensor (OAT) is required for
compressor lockout based on outside air temperature.
• The remote temperature sensor (RS) is optional.
• For single compressor installations do not connect Y2.
• If auxiliary heat is not required do not connect AUX/E.
• Connect outputs only to 24 volt AC pilot duty inputs.
