11.4.1 To check the minimum flow rate
Mandatory procedure for the additional zone

Check the hydraulic configuration to find out which space
heating loops can be closed by mechanical, electronic, or other
valves.

Close all space heating loops that can be closed.

Start the pump test run (see
"11.4.4 To perform an actuator

Read out the flow rate

and modify the bypass valve setting to
reach the minimum required flow rate + 2 l/min.

During pump test run, the unit can operate below the minimum required flow rate.
Recommended procedure for the main zone
INFORMATION
The pump of the additional zone ensures that the minimum flow rate for correct
operation of the unit is guaranteed.

Check with the hydraulic configuration which space heating
loops can be closed by mechanical, electronic, or other valves.

Close all space heating loops that can be closed (see previous
step).

Create a thermo request on the main zone only.

Wait 1 minute until the unit is stabilized.

If the additional pump is still assisting (the green LED on the
right hand sided pump is ON) increase the flow until the
additional pump is not assisting anymore (LED is OFF).

11.4.2 Air purge function
Purpose
When commissioning and installing the unit, it is very important to remove all air in
the water circuit. When the air purge function is running, the pump operates
without actual operation of the unit and the removal of air in the water circuit will
start.
NOTICE
Before starting the air purge, open the safety valve and check if the circuit is
sufficiently filled with water. Only if water escapes the valve after opening it, you can
start the air purge procedure.
