Connection of voltage detection cable (In using voltage detection cable)

This section explains the procedure for connecting the voltage detection cable.

T I P S

•

For connection of welding torch, refer also to "4.2.3

Connection of welding torch".

Cut the voltage detection cable for base metal side to a suitable length.

Connect the voltage detection cable for base metal side to the base metal.

Connect the voltage detection cable for base metal side to the voltage detection terminal of the wire feeder.

•

When using the welding power source by lifting with hoisting equipment, connect the voltage
detection cable for base metal side to the direct voltage detection terminal for base metal side.

For reducing the influence of inductance noise, take note of the following caution on connection and wiring example of
voltage detection cable.

Connection for voltage detection cable is complete. Procedure is followed by "4.2.7
