storm-control flowcontrol

This command enables 802.3x flow control for the switch and only applies to full-duplex mode ports.

no storm-control flowcontrol

This command disables 802.3x flow control for the switch.

show storm-control

This command displays switch configuration information. If you do not use any of the optional parameters, this command
displays global storm control configuration parameters:

•

Broadcast Storm Recovery Mode

may be enabled or disabled. The factory default is disabled.

•

802.3x Flow Control Mode

may be enabled or disabled. The factory default is disabled.

Use the

all

keyword to display the per-port configuration parameters for all interfaces, or specify the

slot/port

to display

information about a specific interface.

Note:

802.3x flow control works by pausing a port when the port becomes oversubscribed and dropping all traffic

for small bursts of time during the congestion condition. This can lead to high-priority and/or network control traffic
loss.
