To set up the Internet connection without using the Quick Setup Wizard on the router, refer to

Quick Setup

Step 1

The Quick Setup menu is used to set up the Internet connection on the
DWR-956M. This is the first step in the Quick Setup tool and allows you to
choose the connection type.

Step 1: Select Interface
Type: Please select which WAN interface to use: 3G/4G or ETH. Your ISP
should inform you of what method you use to connect to the Internet.
