Configure NT Domain Server
Path: Security > Authentication > External Auth Server > NT Domain
The NT Domain server allows users and hosts to authenticate themselves via a pre-configured Workgroup
field. Typically Windows or Samba servers are used to manage the domain of authentication for the centralized
directory of authorized users.
To configure your NT Domain Server:
1. Go to
Security
>
Authentication
>
External Auth Server
>
NT Domain
page.
Field
Description
Authentication Server
Enter the IP address of the NT Domain server.
Workgroup
Enter the Workgroup for the Authentication Server.
Timeout
Set the amount of time in seconds that the controller should wait for a response from
the NT Domain server.
Retries
This determines the number of tries the controller will make to the NT Domain server
before giving up.
2. Complete the NT Domain server information from the table below and click
Save
.
