Section 2 - Installation

Wi-Fi Hotspot Setup

You can set up your DIR-508L to share a hotspot (for example, at a cafe) wirelessly with other devices. In the Wi-Fi Hotspot

Mode, the DIR-508L connects wirelessly to another wireless network and then wirelessly shares your Internet connection with

other devices. You must have the username and password for the access point you are connecting the DIR-508L to.

Note

: In public environments, it is highly recommended to password protect the shared Internet connection on the DIR-508L.
