The color arrangement of cross-over twist-pair cable in the piture is depend on EIA/TIA 568A specification:
3.5 Connecting to Serial port
High speed serial port supports V.24/V.28(EIA/TIA-232), V.35 physical layer protocol, providing DB60interface.
Users may select corresponding interface cable to connect a specific device.
Under any speed, there is a communication distance limit for the serail port. Basically, the lower the speed, the
further the communication distance . All serial port signals have distance limit. Over the distance, signals will be
weaken even lost . The following shows the speed and the distance limit of different port.
