DGS-1210/ME Metro Ethernet Switch CLI Reference Guide

Parameters

config

– Used to save the current configuration to a file.

config_id <value 1-2>

- Specifies which cfg file ID. if cfg ID is not

specified, it refers to the boot_up CFG file.

log

– Used to save the current log to a file. The log file cannot be

deleted.

Restrictions

Only administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.

Example usage:

To save the Switch’s current configuration to non-volatile RAM:

DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# save

Purpose

To reboot the Switch. If the Switch is a member of a stack, it may be
rebooted individually, without affecting the other members of the
stack.

Syntax

reboot {force_agree}

Description

The

reboot

command restarts the Switch.

Parameters

{force_agree} -

When force_agree is specified, the reboot command

will be executed immediately without further confirmation.

Restrictions

Only Administrator -level users can issue this command.

Example usage:
