Purpose

To configure the multicast packet filtering mode.

Syntax

config multicast_filtering_mode vlan <vlan_name 32>
[filter_unregistered_groups | forward_unregistered_groups]

Description

The

config multicast filtering_mode

command enables filtering or

forwarding of multicast addresses.

Parameters

<vlan_name 32> -

Specifies the VLAN name.

[filter_unregistered_groups | forward_unregistered_groups] –

Specifies to filter or forward the unregistered groups of multicast
address.

Restrictions

Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.

Example usage:

To configure the multicast packet filtering mode to forward all unregistered multicast groups:

table.
