Example Main office Autokey IKE VPN tunnel

Adding source and destination addresses

The next step in configuring the VPN is to add the addresses of the networks that are to be connected using
the VPN tunnel. These address will be added to the VPN policy. On each VPN gateway, you must add two
addresses:

·

Source, the IP address of the network behind the local VPN gateway
The source address is an address on your internal network.

·

Destination, the IP address of the network behind the other VPN gateway
The destination address is the IP address of one or more internal networks behind the destination VPN
gateway.

IPSec Autokey VPN addresses

shows the source and destination addresses required for the VPN in

VPN between two internal networks

. In the example, both IP addresses are for internal networks.
