Note:
The commands described in this section are all included in one of three functional groups:

Show commands, which are commands that display switch settings, statistics, and other
information.

Configuration commands, which are commands that can be used to configure the features and
options of the switch. Pl
ease note that, for every configuration command, there is a
corresponding show command that shows the configuration setting.
•
Clear commands, which are commands clear some or all of the user-applied settings, returning
the configurations to factory defaults.
Network Interface Commands
The commands used to configure a logical interface for management access are described in this section.

This command provides the user with access to the Privileged EXEC mode. From the Privileged EXEC
mode, the network interface can be configured.
