Step Action
4 Clean the spillage area on the instrument surface with a proper cleaning
agent and cotton swab.
WARNING
Do not attempt to touch the instrument in the power ON condition,
if large amount of liquid spillage (approx. > 50 mL) is found inside
the instrument. Switch off the instrument, disconnect the power
cord and contact Service.
Lid
Clean the polycarbonate lid with 40% ethanol or 40% isopropanol.
Danger zone
The danger zone under the cover see Section 2.4 Danger zone, on page 25 can be
cleaned periodically, using a small handheld vacuum cleaner. Any spillage can be
cleaned with a lint free cloth moistened with water or up to 20% ethanol.
Infrared sensor window
Clean the infrared sensor window (indicated by an arrow below) every 2 months. Use a
lint free cloth or cotton swab with 100% isopropanol or 70% ethanol.
