Sub-Clock
It is recommended to install a 32.768 kHz crystal and two capacitors (about 15 pF) directly to the Adapter Board.
See Figure 3-1.
To supply the Sub-clock from the user system, add an oscillator to the user system.
Please refer to the graphic above and to the Table 3-2 how to enable the Sub-Clock.

C-pin switching
The C-pin can be supplied from the emulation system or from the user system. This is selected by jumper S1. If
S1 is set to EML, the capacitor on the adapter board is used. If the capacitance of the user board is to be used,
select position USR.
Please refer to Table 3-3 how to set the C-Pin.

Mount the Adapter Board on the Emulator
The MB2198-500 Adapter Board has two connectors (ADAPTER BOARD
CONNECTOR A and B) on the back,
which fit into the connectors of the
Emulator MB2198-01.
Pay attention that the small white
triangles on the side of the connectors
point together.
