EHD-8
Introduction
Cypress EHD-8 is a high performance HDMI distribution amplifier.
It allows one HDMI source to connect up to 8 HDMI displays simutaneously.
Features
1. Solid and durable metal housing with all connecters lined up in one side.
2. Built-in HDCP keysets allows each output to work independently when
connecting to a HDMI display.
3. Splits a HDMI source up to 8 outputs at 1080p without signal loss.
4. Supports DVI source and DVI display by using HDMI to/from DVI adaptor cable.
5. Supports a wide range of PC and HDTV resolutions, from VGA to UXGA and
480p to 1080p. Maximum resolution bandwidth-165MHz.
6. Can be cascaded for more outputs.
7. Each of the buffered output can run up to 15 meters@1600x1200, or 1080p.
8. Support muti-channel compressed & uncompressed HDMI audio.
9. Full HDCP compliant.
10. Enhance function for signal pre-emphasis.
11. Fast handshaking reduces pre-picture blackout time to 5 seconds.
Operation Controls and Functions
Front Panel
1. Power Switch: Press the switch to power on the unit.
2. Power LED Indicator: The LED will illuminate when the power is connected.
3. Sync LED: The LED will illuminate when the HDMI source signal is connected
to the input and is detected by the unit.
4. Signal Enhancement/Indicator: Press the "Enhance" button to turn on this
feature to improve signal quality after long distance transmission.
Press again to turn off. The LED will illuminate when the signal is enhanced.
5. Output LEDs: When a display TV is connected to one of the output ports, its
corresponding LED will illuminate.
Rear Panel
1. HDMI input: Connect to the HDMI or DVI output of your source equipment
such as DVD play or set-top-box.
2. HDMI output 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8: Connect each of these output ports to the
HDMI input of a HDMI display.
3. Power input: Plug the supplied 5VDC power supply into the unit.
