Select the Cygnett Smart Hub + IR Remote Control device in the Cygnett Smart app and select the ‘+’
icon.
7. Follow the in-app instructions. After your Smart Window & Door Sensor has been registered, give it a
name through its Settings, and tap Complete.
Before continuing, please orientate your Smart Window & Door Sensor so that the notches face inwards. Please
note that the gap between the two sensors must be less than 2cm to register as a window or being closed.
8. Remove the first layer on the adhesive, revealing the adhesive surface.
9. Install one of the sensors on the edge of a clean/window (within 40m of Cygnett Smart Hub + IR Remote
Control) by firmly pressing and holding down for 30 seconds.
10. Install the remaining sensor on a window/door frame so that the sensors will meet at the notches when
the window/door is closed.
11. Your Smart Window & Door Sensor is now ready to be used.

Maintenance & Disposal
Before any cleaning, remove your device from all power sources. To prevent any scratches from occurring, use a
soft dry cloth and do not use any cleaning agents.
