Configuring SNMP

Configuring SNMP Information Settings

Under the “OnBoard information settings” heading on the Config 

→

 SNMP 

screen shown in Figure 6-31, clicking the “Edit” button enables the 
administrative user to change the configured values. The “Edit” button brings 
up the screen shown in the following figure.

To Configure OnBoard SNMP Information

1.

Log into the Web Manager as an administrative user.

2.

 Go to Config 

→ 

SNMP

.

3.

Click the “Edit” button next to the SysContact and SysLocation entries.

4.

Accept or change the text in the “Contact” field.

5.

Accept or change the location in the “Location” field.

6.

Click OK.

7.

Click “Save and apply changes.”
