Configuring Notifications

AlterPath OnBoard Administrator’s Guide

The values you need to complete the form and associated dialog boxes are
explained in the following table.

To Configure Pager Notifications

Perform this procedure to configure an alarm trigger and a pager notification
to be sent if the specified alarm trigger occurs.

Log into the Web Manager as an administrative user and go to Config

→

Notifications.

Select “Pager” from the pull-down menu.

Check or leave unchecked the checkbox next to “Scan device console
session for matches.”

Enter a name for the notification in the “Name” field.

Enter an event to trigger the alarm in the “Alarm trigger” field.

Enter a pager or phone number in the “Pager/phone number” field.

Enter the desired text in the “Text” field.

Enter a username in the “SMS username” field.
