11.4 Printing is light
CAUSE REMEDY
Toner is low. If “Replace toner” or “Toner empty” is displayed, replace the toner cartridge
(see
paragraph 5.4 ).
The paper contains humidity. Use paper that is stored in an environment with suitable temperature and hu-
midity.
The paper is not suitable.
The paper weight setting is not suitable.
Set Menus > Feeder conig > Mediaweight to a suitable value on the operation
panel or set Mediaweight to a heavier value.
The toner save mode is enabled Set Admin menu > Print setup > Toner save to “Off” in the menu (see paragraph
9.18 ).
