It may be useful to use the low speed gains if a satisfactory drive feel cannot be achieved using the proportional and integral
gains. For example if the wheelchair is overly responsive to joystick movements at low speeds or loses straight line performa nce
at high speeds.
CAUTION:
The gain settings are subjective and will be influenced by the application in which the gyro system is used. For example, high
gains will give faster steering corrections and good straight line tracking. Lower gains give a slower and smoother response
and a more comfortable drive feel while still providing complete stability control to the w heelchair. However, straight line
tracking may not be so good due to a slower gyro control response.

GYRO PROFILE SELECT
This sets whether gyro control is enabled within each of the Profiles.
The programmable options are Yes and No.
If set to Yes, then gyro control is enabled within that Profile.
If set to No, then gyro control is not enabled within that Profile.
CAUTION:
At least one Profile should be set to No, in order to allow the wheelchair to be used in a moving environments such as trains ,
busses or ships.

SET-UP OF THE GYRO MODULE
The set-up should be carried out by personnel with experience in the drive set-up of wheelchairs. With many of the parameters,
the chosen value will depend on preference for the drive feel. it is recommended that an Emergency Stop button be fitted to
the system and that drive testing commences at slow speeds.
CAUTION:
A standalone Gyro set up procedure for gyro set up is available from Curtiss-Wright applications department on request.
