2.1 ASM MOUNTING
The R-net ASM must be mounted:
1. In a position where impact is unlikely.
2. On a surface either perpendicular or parallel to the Ground. Note: small forward tilt offsets (<10

) can be corrected for
using the programmable parameters, but transverse offsets cannot be corrected for.
3. In one of the eight supported orientations. Refer to see section 3.2.
4. Firmly to the chassis.
5. As near to the back of the wheelchair as possible to provide a good signal strength.
6. At a vertical height level with the center of the drive wheels. To help prevent large transverse accelerations when going
over bumpy ground.
2.2 TM MOUNTING
The R-net TM must be mounted:
1. In a position where impact is unlikely.
2. To a surface of the item from which the angle is to be measured.
3. In one of the eight supported orientations. Refer to see section 3.9.
2.2 ORIENTATION
The ASM/TM should be mounted so that water cannot enter and remain in the connector recesses. The recommended
mounting orientation is such that the Module is standing upright with the connectors pointing down. The function of the
ASM/TM is sensitive to mounting orientation, therefore once mounted refer to the Programming section of the Chapter. The
module has an IPX4 dust and water rating.
