INSTALLATION
MAINTENANCE
1.
Read WARNING statements before proceeding.
2.
Blades, motor, and wire guards should be cleaned
periodically to decrease vibration and ensure
maximum fan life. Remove dirt with a dry brush or
compressed air. DO NOT SPRAY MOTOR WITH
WATER OR CLEANING FLUIDS.
3.
Fan performance may be greatly reduced by
damaged or dirty shutters. Clean and inspect shutter
periodically to ensure maximum fan performance.
4.
After using a Poultry Litter Treatment (PLT) near
galvanized equipment, make sure there is no (PLT)
residue on any galvanized surfaces, as it will lead to
premature rusting. To clean galvanized surfaces, use
a water based emulsifier, alkaline based cleaners with
a pH of 12 or lower or organic solvents. Then rinse
the area with fresh water and wipe clean with a soft
cloth.
