Chapter 3: Installation

Installing the System End Covers

1. Attach the end covers (114) to the each end of the system. Insert the tab end (115) into the drip rail.

2. Attach the front flange of the end cover (114) to the inside edge of the track unit using 1/4"-20 x 1/2"

hex bolt (2) and 1/4" hex nut (14).

3. Also, attach the back flange of the end cover (114) to the post using 1/4" x 1-1/2" lag screws (5).

Installing the Top Flashing

1. Position the top flashing (116) onto the top of the support brackets (31) and attach the back flange of

the top flashing (116) to the fillers with 1/4" x 1-1/2" hex lag screws (5) in the holes provided.

2. Also, attach the top flashing (116) to the top of the support bracket (31) with #14 x 1" TEK screw (3)

at 1/2" from the bottom edge of the support brackets (31).
