• Kettle body/lid will be very hot to touch
during use – only use handles. DO NOT
TOUCH until the kettle body/lid has cooled
down.
• WARNING:
Do not remove the lid
while the water is boiling. Scalding may
occur if the lid is removed during the
heating cycle.

Make sure the scale filter
is in place before using, if the filter is
removed, scalding may occur during the
heating cycle.
• CAUTION:
Position the lid so that
steam is directed away from the handle.
• The appliance is only to be used with the
power base provided.
• The heating element surface is subject to
residual heat after use.
• To avoid damage to the unit or potentially
cause physical damage to the user,
DO NOT
FILL WATER OVER “MAX” WATER LEVEL
MARK and do not remove the water scale
filter to operate the kettle.

INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce
the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords may be used if care is exercised
in their use. If an extension cord is used, the
marked electrical rating of the extension cord
must be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the appliance, and the longer cord should be
arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped
over unintentionally or pulled on by children.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Before using your Signature Kettle for the first
time, remove any dust from shipping by wiping
the unit, with a damp cloth (see Cleaning &
Maintenance Instructions on page 5).

15CM CONTACT OF ANY OTHER
PARAPHENALIA & is sitting back at least 15cm
from the edge of the benchtop or table.
