For technical reasons the loading capacity of the rechargeable bat-

tery will deteriorate with increasing battery life and after a certain

number  of  (full)  charge  cycles.  For  more  details  in  this  regard  also

read  chapter

“Technical  specifications“

.  If  you  have  any  ques-

tions, contact your CUBE dealer.

g

Charge  your  battery  only  with  the  supplied  charger.  Do

not use the charger of any other manufacturer, not even

when the connector of the charger matches your recharge-

able battery. The rechargeable battery can heat up, catch

fire or even explode

(h)

!

g

Keep the rechargeable battery and the charger during the

charging  process  away  from  moisture  and  water  to  ex-

clude electric shocks and short circuits.

g

Keep rechargeable battery and charger out of the reach of

children!

g

Do not use a rechargeable battery or a charger that is de-

fective. If you are in doubt or if you have any questions,

contact your CUBE bicycle dealer.

•

The rechargeable battery has reached its maximum capacity after

about five discharge-charge cycles.

•

The rechargeable battery and the charger

(g)

are compatible. Don’t

use another charger and another rechargeable battery or any sup-

posed replacement units!

•

The rechargeable battery reaches its maximum service life, when

charged with an ambient temperature b10 and +30 de-

grees Celsius (50 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit).

•

The battery can be charged in any state of charge. It is recommend-

ed that you recharge the battery after every ride to benefit from

the full range at all times.

i

Connecting  the  charger  with  the  rechargeable  battery

over an unlimited period of time is riskless.

In the case of the down tube and pannier rack option you can check

the state of charge of the rechargeable battery on the housing.

•

1 LED glows: Rechargeable battery is being charged

•

Up to 3 LEDs glow: Number of glowing LEDs corresponds to the

capacity already charged

•

4 LEDs glow: Rechargeable battery is nominally fully charged, re-

charging in process

•

All LEDs are out: End of charging process, battery’s state of charge
