3.4 IO Card
IO cards include FXO card, FXS card, E&M card, G703/64K card, RS232 card, RS232-C card, N *64K card,
ET100 card and RS485 card. IO cards can be placed in any slot from 1 to 18. However, in actual use, any of slots 1-6
may contain E1 cards. The E1 cards must be placed first, then insert any IO cards next. If the aggregate is using STM-1,
then there may be no E1 cards inserted, in which case all IO cards can use slots 1-18. To remove or insert cards, loosen
or tighten the two thumb screws. To remove, grab the thumb screws and pull straight back with equal force to unseat the
IO card

E&M Card Hardware Setup (DIP SWITCH)
1. E&M Card Working Mode Setup:
On the board, there are two DIP switches (S1 & S2) for setting up the working mode. The mapping table for the
corresponding mode is provided below:
