2.7 LED Indicators

LED

Color

Status

Meaning

PWR 1
PWR 2

Green

Power is connected and active at the PWR1/PWR2 input
terminal connection.

Off

PWR1/PWR2 input terminal is not connected.

Fault

Amber

When one or more of the programmable alarm conditions is
active.

Off

No programmable alarm conditions are active.

CPU Act

Green

During normal use, this green LED will be lit, indicating a
healthy condition of the running CPU.

Ring

Master

Yellow

Lit when this unit is the 'master' in a fiber ring and all units are
configured for u-Ring or ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection
Switching or G.8032).

RJ-45

Link/Act

Green

Port link is up and works in 10M/100M.

Blinking

Traffic is present.

Amber

(For IGS-

1604SM &IGS-

812SM only)

Port link is up and works in 1000M.

Blinking

Traffic is present.

Fiber

Link/Act

Green

The fiber link is up.

Blinking

Traffic is present.

2.8 Installation

IFS/IGS Series

is designed for wall mounting or DIN rail mounting. The units come with both wall mount and DIN

rail hardware brackets from the factory.

2.8.1 Mounting

When installing the DIN rail bracket, be sure to correctly align the orientation pin.
