Cleaning the Touch Screen
Occasionally, you might find it necessary to clean the touch screen of the
PowerStation. Clean the touch screen using warm soapy water and a cloth.
You may also use any non-abrasive cleaner. See Faceplate Chemical
Resistance on page 22.
Do not use any harsh material or powder, such as steel wool or abrasive
cleansers, to clean the polyester surface. The surface is sensitive to
scraping, sharp blows, or punctures. Thus, keep screwdrivers or other
sharp objects away from the surface of the touch screen.
Warning Do NOT clean the unit while Interact is in Run mode. Clean the unit
while power is removed to keep from inadvertently activating an
Interact device (button, slide, etc.).
Using the Compact Flash Drive
The P1 PowerStation uses a removable Compact Flash Drive for storage
purposes. The Compact Flash Adapter allows you to remove the Compact
Flash Drive and update application files from a PC. Therefore, if you want
to update application files from a PC, you can simply remove the Compact
Flash Drive from the Compact Flash Adapter on the P1, update it on a PC,
and reinstall it.
Note To update application files on a PC you must have a PCMCIA card
(CTC Parker model number FLH-ADPT-2000). Further information
on how to update application files with the P1 Compact Flash
Adapter are documented in the instructions which accompany the
PCMCIA card.
CTC Parker recommends that you purchase at least one additional flash
drive to serve as a backup for your primary flash drive. You can also
purchase additional flash drives to store different projects
