5.3 Position selection (Pos)
The POSITION NUMBER to associate with the measurements can be selected
by placing the cursor on item
Pos
. It can be saved information up to 31
positions per machine.
The position number can changed by pressing the UP or DOWN arrow keys.
All the measurements of the position selected, can be deleted by pressing the
CANCEL key. Prior to continue, FiberScanONE will ask to confirm the operation:
by pressing the ENTER key all the data of the machine will be deleted, pressing
the CANCEL key instead the operation is aborted.
The “average position value” can be visualized by pressing the CENTER key
(please see figure
12
); once selected, on the upper centre of the screen it will
be shown the indication “POS. VALUE”.
5.4 Measurement selection (Mea)
The selection of a single measure number is possible by placing the cursor on
item
Mea
.
The instrument can save up to 255 measurements per position; the total
number of measurements is however, limited to the maximum capacity
allowed by the internal memory (2000 measurements).
The symbol appearing next to the measurement number, indicates if the
presence of measurement data; if nothing appears, it means that the
measurement number selected is empty.
The symbol
or
appearing near the battery icon, indicates that if the
measure selected contains “continuous CMD profile data” or “FFT data”.
