5.4.14 Switch 

Ctrl 

Screen 

This screen will only be present when a switch system has been purchased with the amplifiers.  
Refer to the switch system manual provided for switch system operation. 

5.5 Shutdown and Recovery 

When transmission is complete and no other activity is planned, the Indoor SSPA should be 
switched off to conserve electricity and prolong life. The following procedures describe normal 
shutoff. 
1.

 

Press STANDBY key to place the Indoor SSPA in standby state. Verify the main screen 
displays “STBY”. Verify that the standby LED is illuminated yellow. 

2.

 

Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the front panel or press the ON/OFF button and use 
the arrow keys to select yes to “Shut down now?” on the VFD display. 

3.

 

Switch of the circuit breaker on the back of the Indoor SSPA. 

5.5.1 AC 

Power 

Interruption 

In the event of AC power interruptions, the Indoor SSPA will automatically return to the state is 
was in prior to the AC power interruption.  

5.5.2 Emergency 

Shutdown 

Press and hold the ON/OFF power button located on the front panel.
