Connecting to the Amplifier 

Use the following steps to initiate communication between the amplifier and PC: 
1.

 

Open a web browser on the PC. 

2.

 

In the address field of the PC type in the amplifiers IP address. 

3.

 

A login screen will appear.  The default user name is 

CPI

 and the password is 

CPI

. 

The amp status screen will appear. 

5.4.3 Navigation 

The left side lists all the operator accessible screens.  The first screen an operator will encounter 
is the amp status screen.  To navigate through screens simply click on the name of the screen to 
be viewed.  The screens are explained in the sections that follow. 

5.4.4 

Amp Status Screen 

Figure 5-20 is a typical amp status screen. The amp status screen displays monitored 
parameters, the control type, the amplifier state,  RF  output,  and  power  mode.  When  in  this 
screen the operator can place the amplifier in transmit, standby, and RF inhibit.  The operator 
must be in this screen to reset faults.  Automatic level control (ALC), or manual can be selected 
as well.
