This chapter describes how to service the coin recycler:

•  Filling the coin hoppers
•  Emptying the coin hoppers
•  Cleaning the CLS
•  Eliminating coin jam-up

8.1

Filling the coin hoppers

In order that the coin hoppers can be filled and all coins will be registered/counted
in filling mode you need the product-dependent software installed on the control
unit computer connected.

For the full numbers of coins please refer to

Chap. "5.10.1 Payout configuration & capacity",

p. 16

.

8.1.1

Two ways to fill coin hoppers – Which one to go?

The coin recycler can be provided with change either by inserting the hopper coins into the input
funnel when the empty hoppers are installed, or you remove the empty coin hoppers and fill them
direct. The following table helps you deciding in favour of the right filling method:

We recommend that you fill the hoppers via the coin input funnel. Filling the
hoppers directly may result in incorrect coin counters and audits.
