Note:
The following graphics are representative of the screens users may encounter while
installing a USB driver from the compact disc. Individual operating system languages may
vary.
To install a USB driver from the compact disc
1.
Insert the Nellcor™ bedside SpO
2
patient monitoring system compact disc (CD) into the
designated personal computer (PC).
2.
Copy the COVIDIEN USB to UART Bridge Driver zip file to the PC, installing it in the
desired program folder.
3.
Right-click on the zipped folder.
4.
Select Extract All .
5.
Open the extracted folder.
6.
Launch the Driver Installer executable.

Note:
To change the location of the driver, select the desired mapping by clicking Change
Install Location .
7.
Click Install .

8.
Reboot the PC for changes to take effect.
9.
Connect the monitoring system to the PC, firmly engaging the USB end to the PC and
the mini-USB to the monitoring system.
