Using HyperTerminal™* via Null Modem Cable to Capture and Store Data

Data can be outputted from the digital output port to a personal computer (PC) with a terminal
emulator program via a 9-pin to 9-pin null modem cable. One such terminal emulator program is
HyperTerminal™* (available in some Window operating systems). This section describes using
HyperTerminal™* to output data from the INVOS™ system in Run and Case archive Functions via
a null modem cable. Data can be downloaded in real-time and case history formats (see section

Data Output Formats

to determine appropriate format). This setting will be retained until

changed by selecting a different output format.
