Plug adaption for different countries

The plug of the mains adaptor might need adapting to suit
the electrical sockets used in your country.
1.  Depress the catch and detach the contact

pin plate from the body of the mains adaptor.

2.  Attach the desired contact pin plate to

the mains adaptor (the knurled surface lines
up with the contact inside the adaptor).

3.  Ensure that the catch snaps into place and

holds the contact pin plate on securely.

•

If the battery is already partly charged and the work light shines
the first time it is switched on, leave the work light on until
the light goes out and then recharge the battery completely.

•

If the work light does not come on when it has just been
unpacked (discharged battery), fully charge the battery before
using the work light for the first time.

•

Use only the included mains adaptor for charging
the work light.

230 V mains power

1.  Connect the mains adaptor to the charge cable input socket (1)

on the work light and to an available electrical socket. The LED
indicator (2) shines red to show that the battery is being charged.

2.  The LED indicator shines green once the battery is fully charged.

12 V car power

Connect the 12 V car charger cable to the charge cable input socket
(1) on the work light. The included 12 V car charger is only intended
as a temporary charger as it does not always fully charge the battery.

Note:

If the work light is charged from the 12 V socket of a car

with the engine switched off, the battery will only be charged to
about 70 % (the LED will shine red all the time).
If the work light is charged in a car with the engine running,
the charging time will be shorter and the battery will charge to
100 %, i.e. the LED indicator will change from red to green.

Switching the light on/off

1.  The work light is switched on by setting the [ 50 % OFF 100 % ]

switch to either

50 %

 or

100 %

.

2.  The work light is switched off by setting the switch to

the middle position, marked

OFF

.

1.  Charging input socket for the included charge cables
2.  LED charge indicator
3.  [ 50 % OFF 100 % ] 3-position switch: 50 % brightness, off,

100 % brightness
