There are two selections available for the unit, the volumetric leak rate, mL/min, or pressure unit, Pa or kPa.
The leak unit automatically defaults to Pa or kPa depending on the specifications when turning on the power.
<Operation>
a) Press the SHIFT key.

appears on the leak rate indicator.
b) Press the DOWN

appears on the leak rate indicator, and the LED of the unit used blinks.
c) The unit will be switched to volumetric leak rate, mL/min by pressing the

UP key, and the unit will be
switched to pressure unit, Pa or kPa by pressing the DOWN
▼
key.
d) Pressing the ENTER key completes the selection and returns to Measurement mode. Pressing the
STOP key cancels the selection and returns to Measurement mode.

The charge hold is used to pressurize (or evacuate for vacuum testes) the master and tested part
continuously. The purpose of charge hold is to find the location of leak. For example, when using a
pressure type tester this could be done by applying a sop solution to pipe fittings or other possible leak paths
in the pneumatic circuit. Charge hold can be controlled also by an external device through the control I/O
port.
a) Charge Hold in Manual
Press the CHG HOLD
key to start pressurization, and press the STOP key to terminate it.
CHG
appears on the leak rate indicator and blinks.
b) Charge Hold in Remote
Turn ON Charge hold signal to start pressurization and turn OFF to terminate it.
c) I/O operation
While Charge hold signal is ON, no signal except STOP signal will not be accepted.
CLAMP (option), BUSY, STAGE# and END signals are transmitted.
Units can be switched only if the keyboard is unlocked.
The unit cannot be switched to mL/min when the equivalent internal volume is set to 0.
The unit cannot be changed if the change causes the value to exceed the display
range.
If the leak rate unit is changed, the unit for the leak rate limit change to be the same.
