underbody protector wheels
Removal:
1. Remove the 12 screws (1) from the front underbody protector.
2. Uncouple the protector.
3. Remove the 8 screws (2) from the rear underbody protector.
4. Uncouple the protector.
Do not travel without underbody protectors, this could pose a risk on
the integrity of the main components such as transmission.
It is necessary to keep underbody protectors clean, both internally
and externally. This will allow identifying vehicle’s fluid loss,
avoinding rusting due to standing water, etc.
Removal:
1. Put the vehicle in a horizontal position.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Raise the area of the vehicle (front or rear) where the wheel you are
removing is located (p. 47)
4. Remove the four screws (1) holding the wheel rim.
5. Remove the wheel.
Perform the above process in reverse for the installation.
NEVER travel with lack of any of the wheel screws, this would
suppose a great risk for your safety.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION: Wheel nut tightening torque: 70 Nm.
