The gateway uses the QUICKON connector from the company Phoenix Contact. The mating
connector is to be purchased separately. See section 4.2 for more details on how to use this
connector and power up the device. There are 4 pins in the connector and all of them are
clearly marked with their pin number (1, 2, 3 and Neutral). 4th pin is reserved for neutral, and
it’s shown with a grounding symbol in the connector.

Line to Line – Maximum 520V
3. Software and Initial Setup
CXP-UFSGX is configured as a CPE by default. To change its modes, auto-configuration mech-
anism can be used which involves provisioning using the Corinex GridValue Software system.
Alternatively, CXP-UFSGX can be set to use static configuration and this device can be set to
function as a BPL headend or as a BPL time division repeater. Corinex Smart Grid Config Tool
(SCT) can also be used to configure the device. Refer to the SCT manual for further details.
4. Commissioning
4.1 Installation
Mount the device as desired (screw mount or using cable tie). Refer section 2.1 for more de-
tails.
4.2 Powering up the device
CXP-UFSGX uses QPD QUICKON connector from Phoenix Contact for powering up the device.
This type of connector offers a secure connection in just a few steps. See the figures 5 to 11
for detailed steps:
