RESET PROCESS (IF IN DOUBT, ASK)

1. Ensure the descent path of the curtain is clear i.e. there
are no obstructions. The curtain will fully deploy during
this process.
2. Remove the incoming ‘ALARM’ cable and the curtain
should begin to deploy*. Wait for the curtain to have
deployed to its fire operational position.
3. Remove the IEC power lead on top left hand side of
control panel. This looks like a ‘kettle lead’.
4. Locate the ‘battery fuse’ on the underside of the bottom right hand side of the control panel. This is
located in the centre of 3 circular, black fuses.
5. The fuse can be removed by applying pressure and twisting anti-clockwise. The fuse will then drop
down slightly.
6. Wait 10 seconds and confirm that the MK4 remote display screen has lost power and has lost its
display.
7. Re-instate the incoming power by re-connecting the IEC power lead (‘kettle lead’).
8. Re-connect the battery fuse by applying pressure and twisting clockwise. Confirm the battery fuse
remains in position and does not drop down.
9. The MK4 will initialise and after 10 seconds should display ‘in MANUAL mode, AUTO press OK’.
