INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Battery installation
Using a cross head screwdriver (not supplied), unscrew the
screw from the battery compartment and remove the cover.
Insert 4x AA batteries (not supplied) according to the polarity
guide inside the battery compartment and replace the battery
cover and screw.
Determine the exact location where you want to install the light
There are two different installation options. It is recommended to use the hardware installation for
longer and security use wherever possible.
Hardware installation
Using a cross head screwdriver remove the screw from base of the item.
Hold the base against the wall and mark the centre of each hole using a pencil/marker. Make sure
the narrow ends of the holes are facing upwards. Replace the base and screw.
Drill each hole using a 2mm (1/16in) drill bit approximately 1.9cm deep.
If you hit a wall stud, drill the same hole again using a 6mm (1/4in) drill bit and insert a wall anchor
(provided) into each hole. Tap in each wall anchor lightly with a hammer until flush with the wall
surface.
Thread a screw (provided) into each hole or wall anchor leaving 3mm of the screw unthreaded to
secure the light fixture.
