Operation

515 HC04 - 8 June 2007

Front Panel Keys

For most actions with the front panel keys, you can hold a key to scroll
through the values or options, instead of repeatedly pressing the key.

Press the

key to display the rate that is associated with the currently

displayed total. If an item other than a rate or total is displayed, press the

key to display the “default rate”. When a rate is displayed, press or

hold the

key to display the other rate variables in turn.

Press the

key to display the total that is associated with the currently

displayed rate. If an item other than a rate or total is displayed, press the

key to display the “default total”. When a total is displayed, press or

hold the

key to display the other total variables in turn.

Use the

key to clear all resettable totals or to initiate a printout if the

printer option has been selected. The printout is activated with a single press
while the Total Reset function has four reset modes that are selectable
during instrument calibration as follows:

•

NONE

The user cannot reset the non-accumulated totals.

•

INSTANT - When the user presses the

key, the instrument resets

all non-accumulated totals.

•

DELAYED

When the user holds the

key for two seconds, the

instrument resets all non-accumulated totals.

The instrument makes three beeps when it resets the totals and two beeps
when a printout is started.

Press the

key to step or scroll through the main menu items.

Hold the

key to display the accumulated value for the currently

displayed total or to display the peak value for the currently displayed
flowrate. See below for further details of peak flowrates.
