Setup 

Setup Procedures 

Install the software from the attached CD-ROM first, and then set the basic information such as the 
operating mode (Penetration, Modem, Virtual COM), IP address, subnet mask, etc. by using the setup 
utility accessed from the Windows start menu. 
In Penetration Mode or Modem Mode, set serial parameters and other values in Advanced Settings. 

The operating mode and Device ID can also be set by the MODE switch or ID switch. 

For information about how to use the setup utility and detail of each setting, refer to the Help file, which 
can be opened from the Windows start menu after the attached CD-ROM has been installed. 

 

 

Setup Utility 

The setup utility allows the user to detect, read and write device settings on the network, upgrade the 
firmware version and display its status. 

For information about how to use the setup utility, refer to the Help file stored on the CD-ROM.
