M2M Gateway PLC Communication Settings

Terminal Setting

In this setting example, the Modbus simulator "mod_Rssim.exe" by SourceForge is installed on the
viewing terminal for the operation check. This section describes how to install and run the Modbus
simulator.



Modbus Simulator Installation Procedure

Access URL listed below and download the simulator software.

URL :

https://sourceforge.net/projects/modrssim/files/latest/download

The listed URL is subject to change in the future. If that is a case, search "mod_Rssim.exe" on the search site.

Click the "Download" to download .exe file, and save the file to your folder.
* The installer will not be executed.

Double-click .exe file to start the simulation software.



Simulator Software Operation Procedure

This section describes how to set and run the Modbus simulator software.
1.

From the pulldown menu on the screen below, select the "MODBUS RS-232”.
