M2M Gateway PLC Communication Settings

—

DIS Switch Configuration

(Switching RS-485 and RS-422)

To switch between RS-422 (Full duplex) and RS-485 (Half duplex) for serial communication, DIP switch
on the controller needs to be set.
Configure DIP switch settings as necessary.
And as for the terminator on the cabling, set the Terminator ON.

DIP switch positions

RS-422 (Full duplex)

Terminator OFF Terminator ON

RS-485 (Half duplex)
