3. Hardware Setup

BX-961D Series User’s Manual

CAUTION

-

All specification is not guaranteed if you use any HDD except ones selected as our options. If you
need any specification of BX-961D, you should use HDD selected as our options.

-

To prevent damage caused by static electricity, implement measures to prevent static electric
discharges (such as wearing an antistatic wrist strap) when inserting and removing the HDD.

-

When inserting and removing the HDD, do not touch the electronic parts on the circuit board with
your hands.

-

Do not touch the terminals of the HDD. Doing so may lead to malfunctions.

-

Do not insert the HDD with the incorrect orientation. Also, do not apply excessive force when
inserting the HDD. Doing so may damage the connectors.

-

Before inserting the HDD, do not drop it or otherwise subject it to strong impacts. Doing so may lead
to malfunctions.

Installation of VESA metal fittings

It corresponds to this product VESA standard. Please refer to the following for the VESA installation and
the method of installing VESA metal fittings.

You can fix the main body to VESA holes with 100 x 100 pitch or 200 x 200 pitch using the VESA metal
fittings below.

VESA metal fittings are our option. Please refer to chapter7 in order to know the model name.
