Replace the Cone Safety Guard over the ConeMount Bearing Heater to warn of
possible high temperatures.
**NOTE
–
The ConeMount Bearing Heater is not recommended for continuous use
Bearings in excess of 100lbs should be supported on the outer race to prevent damage
to the cone unit.
Care:
Periodically, wipe the cool unit with a clean, dry, soft cloth to remove possible dirt or
grease residue. The thermostat should be gently cleaned to assure proper calibration.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
:
1.
DRESS PROPERLY. Always wear heavy safety gloves to avoid risk of burn or
shock.
2.
AVOID DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS. Do not use the
ConeMount Bearing Heater in damp or wet locations, in or around water.
3.
DO NO OPERATE the ConeMount Bearing Heater in gaseous or explosive
atmospheres, around combustible or flammable liquids, or hazardous
materials.
4.
DO NOT OPERATE the ConeMount Bearing Heater on any surface which may
burn. Always place the unit on a flat surface for use.
5.
DO NOT leave unit unattended
6.
DISCONNECT TOOL. Always disconnect the power cord from the wall receptacle
when the unit is not in use.
7.
USE THE RIGHT TOOL. Do not use the ConeMount Bearing Heater for any job
except that for which it is intended.
8.
DON’T ABUSE CORD. Do not yank the power cord from the wall receptacle.
Keep cord from heat, oil and sharp edges. Do not operate unit if power cord or
plug show signs of damage.
9.
WARNING: Keep unit dry, clean, and free from oil and grease. Keep work area
clean.
