Connection to the
energy supply BEWARE of fatal electric shock.
• It is the responsibility of a competent person to carry out the connection
in accordance with the regulations, guidelines and technical data of Conel
Stream in force in the country of installation;
• Before starting work of any kind, make sure that the power supply tor
Conel Stream is interrupted (e.g., pull the power plug) and secure it again
against unauthorized or unintentional re-turn on;
• Make sure that Conel Stream cannot be used without authorization or
unintentionally during installation;
Connection of the
Conel Stream to the
pipeline network Before starting work, of any kind, make sure that
• the power supply has been interrupted and is secured against unauthorized
or unintentional switching on;
• the Conel Stream cannot to be put into operation without authorization or
unintentionally during installation;
Risk of injury due to cuts and crushing injuries
• Use only suitable installation material and /-tool;
• anchorages of the pipes (pipe clamps) so that no mechanical loads are
transferred to the Conel Stream;
• Make sure that the entire piping has been installed appropriately and
professionally;
• Avoid leaks during connection and throughout the piping system.
2.3.4 Commissioning
ATTENTION:
All commissioning activities may only be carried out by professional and
knowledgeable personnel, who have been suffi ciently informed by studying the
operating instructions in-depth.
Refer to unauthorized persons (especially children and adolescents) and
animals from the work/activity area of Conel Stream.
Filling, fi lling Avoidance of damage to the Conel Stream
• Make sure that the Conel Stream is properly and professionally connected
to the piping system;
• Fill the pump housing with water;
• Vent the pressure line and the entire piping system to avoid water impacts.
Testing Avoidance of personal injury due to electric shock and property damage to the
Conel Stream.
• Establish the mains connection only when the Conel Stream is hydraulically
fully connected to the pipeline network;
• Protect electrical and mechanical hazards from unauthorized access;
• Refer to unauthorized persons (especially children and adolescents) and
animals from the work/activity area of Conel Stream.
